As technical swing for the time I was covering, I sorted and prepped the pyro for each show, putting each type into a divided box and connecting the propane gas bottles to the flame jets. With the lx 3 & 4, I would then load the pyro so that it could be fired in the performance. During a performance, I operated pyro and auto. The pyro was controlled with two different systems; one was the Le Maitre pyroflash, which we had 3 of, and then a timecoded controller for a segment in the show to which I had to arm and hold a deadmans. The automation was two winches controlling the swag in the house tabs.
